SAABtec, Glossop

I have a Saab Aero convertible that I am in the process of restoring .Saab Tec have a wealth of experience for n dealing with Saab cars . They efficiently and cost effectively have dealt with my car on the three occasions in have visited .. They know Saab cars inside out and give me confidence that they could resolve any problems with my car

My repair required specialist knowledge and this is the right place to go for anything Saab - knew what it was from the description via email, quoted a price stuck to the quote and fixed it within the hour. If you have a Saab I highly recommend this garage.

Richard has been looking after my Saab 900 for many years at Saabtec, and before that at Saab Manchester, and he is a man of integrity who knows everything there is to know about Saabs. He has a direct account with the parts division in Sweden and can get any part within a few days. He has never let me down, and provides a professional service with excellent staff. He sold an excellent 9-5 estate to a friend who is really happy with the car too. Recommend highly.

I have had a Saab 92 diesel for more than 10 years and was recommended to Saabtec by a friend. Good advice. Richard (the owner) is very skilled and knowledgeable as his team. As with any older car various niggles arise - a telephone call and advice, or, take it in are all dealt with patience, sense and assurance. They have never let me down, nor my Saab. I rely totally upon Saabtec with Richard's team who provide what a garage should - courtesy, reliability, efficiency, durability and safety. These are rare attributes in this day and age of electronic wizardry and corporate garages that ever seems to fail you with the "sucking in of air through the teeth - kerching of the cash register" attitude. At 175 000 miles my Saab is still going strong - and either I will die first or it will die first, as I ain't parting with it nor Saabtec. COI: - none I am a punter who needs a reliable car and garage not a mechanic.

I have been going to travel to SaabTec for advice on a problem with my Saab 95Aero but have been putting it off due to the nature of the problem. Wiring needle in a haystack problem, Engine warning light. I have spoke to them about my problem over the phone Tom has always been very helpful and polite. The garage is very busy with all Saab repairs and they have many years experience working on the Brand, but in all the years working with the brand they had not had my code show on thier Tech 2 So the problem was not a known common fault. Richard gave my his time on arrival and got stright to it as he thought it was a quick fix it was not! so Richard agreed to keep the car and work on it when he had time he showed me his bookings and made it clear there was a que, made worse by the weather heavy snow fall . Richard Gave me a loan car and sent me on my way. 2 days later the car was ready. Richard had found the problem and fixed it, were many who had looked had failed three AA engineers and my very good local garage. SaabTec is not a main Dealer. I liked the fact you could talk to the staff about your Car, my feeling is ask for what you want and that is what you will get a the right price. it was hard for me to ask for a quote due to the Nature of my problem, we worked together to solve it and I got a good deal. And it was nice to meet some of the team at SaabTec if they had not been so busy on the day the AA relayed me to the garage I feel sure that it would of been same day service. A Garage you can work with !!!!!!
