my 2004 Saab 9-3 failed mot at my usual mot centre for high lambda reading. I normally do all my own maintenance but this type of fault is smoke and mirrors so I took the car to Rowcliffes to identify the fault and advise what was required to fix the fault. They put the car on the tech2 diagnostic and then the MOT emission tester and phoned me to tell me that all was ok, that the engine was running very clean. They also looked at the rest of the car and said that apart from a few minor advisory faults the car was in good order. I then asked them to do the MOT and I paid £119.0 for the MOT and the diagnostic. I could have been ripped off dreadfully with this kind of problem but they were in my mind very straight and reasonable. I have never used this garage before but will you use them again if the need arises

When I bought my car 3 years ago, I was unsure about buying a Vauxhall: they had not had a good reputation for some time. However, Rowcliffe's offered me a very good deal on an Insignia Tourer (Estate). Now, based purely on my experiences with their service department, I have bought a new Meriva for my son, and shall be buying a new Vauxhall for myself and another for my wife. Every person I have dealt with on their reception is well trained, knowledgeable and super helpful.I have had few dealings with actual mechanics and technicians, but they too have been helpful and professional. I cannot praise these people too highly. My previous experiences with main agents have not been anything to write home about, but Rowcliffe's have completely turned my opinion around. I have also been more than happy with their sales department: again professional, knowledgeable, helpful and NO PRESSURE.
