But they were clear about the potential repair and didn't charge me anything for checking the problem out and gave me a quote if I needed to buy and fit a new part. Typical friendly, country, family run garage where you'll usually be met by a couple of spaniels, Ruby and Daisy, and even by some chickens, fox permitting. Been using them for over twenty years and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Excellent service and definitely no overcharging - quite the opposite in fact. Unconditionally recommended.
