We paid a deposit towards a second hand car, which hadn't yet arrived at the garage They sold the car to another buyer while we were waiting to hear from them. They refused to refund the deposit. Said they'd look for another one for us. They were rude, intimidating and humiliating. I've never known a garage hang up on a customer before, because they were upset. But they did.
