I was initially told a repair would be minor following a diagnostic test. When representing the car I was then told it was more major costing £450 plus limited labour costs with additional “minor” expenses for the MOT. I was presented with a bill of over £1,300 without any further interaction, with circa 5 hours labour charged at over £100 ph (once VAT was added).

Car went in for MOT and failed due to x2 front brake pipes needing replacing. I was without the car for x3 days and returned to collect and was greeted with a bill for £600 !!! I contacted x4 other garages including a Mercedes Main Dealer in London and was quoted between £200 & £250 for the Brake Pipe job. When this was put to RH Automotive I was told that Mercedes probably didn't know what was involved in doing the work ??? My Car was a Mercedes ML . . . I was speaking to a Mercedes Main Dealer ??? !!! x2 weeks later I was travelling in said car and lost all power steering as my power steering fluid suddenly drained out all over the road, this was due to a hose not being refitted correctly by RH Automotive, a hose that they had to removed to carry out the work to the Brake Pipes. Luckily I was local and my power steering pump survived the short trip home and my costs were only £20 for new fluid which I purchased myself. Unfortunately, RH Automotive may have made double the cost out of me on this work but in the long run they have lost a hell of a lot more in future work and reputation and future customers who chance upon me. Bad News Always Spreads Faster Than Good News !!!

Had a water leak on my Porsche. Russell diagnosed it and fixed it in a day no problem. He explained exactly what had been done and the parts that were needed. The bill was very reasonable, no hidden extras. I'm very pleased with the service and will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Superb service from Russell and his band of merry men at RH Automotive. I always feel in safer hands when the owner of the garage is the one that deals with customers - and Russell does this very well indeed. Always flexible, always friendly and doesn't over-charge in my experience. Highly recommended.
