I was unlucky to have a minor accident near this garage while having a foreign accent and from London. It was something like a horror movie! They saw two females and gave me a price that was near 1000£ to ‘release’ the vehicle (It was fixed for 360£ in London). I drove the car there and after the brexit pricing and attitude I decided to get my car to London. I was informed that the car needs three people to hold it to be unloaded but the car was actually driving slowly when I went there. Not only they gave me an unrealistic price but just to prove a point they extra damaged my vehicle. I am submitting a complaint to trading standards as it is a matter of principle. They might be great, just make sure you don’t sound foreign when you go! It was the worst experience and I am a female driver! We go through a lot trying to fix our cars as I find it disrespectful to take a man with me every time I go garage.. PS: my fav was when they told my cousin who has a similar business and understands cars: ‘we are not a charity’. This is something mechanics love to say when conning females :)
