Revolution Porsche, Birstall

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Revolution Porsche. My Porsche Cayenne was emitting white smoke from the exhaust, and another garage diagnosed a faulty injector but was unable to determine which one. They recommended I take it to a Porsche specialist to pinpoint the issue. I contacted Revolution Porsche, explained the situation over the phone, and even wrote a note when dropping off the key, clearly stating the problem was related to a faulty injector. To my surprise, after a diagnostic check, they came back claiming that the engine had failed and quoted me £4,000 + VAT for a replacement, plus labor costs. I decided to take the car to a non-specialist garage, and to my relief, they quickly identified and fixed the faulty injector for just £300. The car is now running perfectly, with no engine issues whatsoever. I’m incredibly disappointed with Revolution Porsche, as they seemed to jump straight to an expensive engine replacement rather than thoroughly investigating the real issue. Had I gone along with their diagnosis, I could have been out of pocket by over £6,000 for a problem that didn’t exist. I also asked Revolution Porsche to refund the diagnostic fee, as they did not perform the requested service (identifying the faulty injector), but they refused. It’s frustrating to see that they seem to go for the more costly, "easy" solution of replacing the engine, rather than providing a proper diagnosis. Thankfully, a knowledgeable non-specialist garage saved me a huge amount of money, and I won't be returning to Revolution Porsche for future work.

Bought a second hand Panamera 4S and had problems straight away... went to local Porsche specialists (not in Yorkshire is all I will say) and they were poor and pretty much clueless. Thankfully got it here to Russell and his team who diagnosed quickly, keeping me in the loop with the steps to be taken. Special thanks to Danny and Sharon for their brilliant customer service and care throughout, very happy with the work and will definitely be back for service requirements. Prices were reasonable and knowledge I believe is of the highest order, proved by a great assessment and diagnosis of my problem with a broken cat causing multiple warnings.

Before entrusting servicing and maintenance of my Porsches to an independent Porsche specialist I sought reviews and opinions on a number of specialists and decided upon Revolution Porsche, Brighouse, West Yorkshire I had both cars inspected and reports prepared taking up their offer of a free 111 point check. These reports were impressively detailed and totally honest with no suggestion of any work being required that wasn't necessary. Work required was prioritised and the estimates were fair and reasonable. All work has been carried out to a high standard and within time scales quoted. During June both cars had major services carried out using their fixed price servicing costs and discounts on offer. Director, Russell Stanley is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to provide expertise and advice. His staff are all friendly and inspire confidence. I have never regretted choosing Revolution Porsche, indeed I feel completely confident that they will maintain my Boxster and 911 to the highest standard and at reasonable cost. I have no hesitation in recommending Revolution Porsche, Brighouse or their recently acquired Birstall branch (formerly Cavendish Motors) to any Porsche owner. It is rare to feel the sort of total confidence in the motor trade,that I have in Revolution.

I always take my 996 to Revolution, as I've found that they are friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable about Porsches and give great customer service.
