We used this garage to replace one of our tires after a puncture. I found the Ian, the owner, and his team to be untrustworthy and misleading in both their discussion with my wife and with me. Specifically they: a) Advised us of the minimum legal requirements but did not advise us of the manufacturers and AA/RAC guidance having matching brands/tread-patterns on tires across an axle. I asked why they had not done this, they said that they could not supply a matching tire and so why would they advise us of something that might mean we would take the vehicle elsewhere. b) When I asked (over the phone) for the manufacturer and model of the tire that had been removed they said they couldn't read it off the tire. When I visited the workshop and asked to see the tire, the labeling was clearly visible. c) When I complained they offered me a GBP20 partial refund against the tire they had fitted - promising to pop it in the post. This never arrived. I would avoid this garage unless you know exactly what you need to have done and do not need their advice.
