I ordered used car on line after discussion with salesman, I wanted to go and view the car, but he convinced me that "all the power is in the buyer's hands" via distance sale. It was delivered a few days later and I went straight out in it. The brakes felt spongy and there was a noise from a wheel, I called the garage and was told to take it to my local mechanic. After a few miles the brakes completely failed. They picked it up and brought a courtesy car a few days later. I paid for the AA to do full 4x4 inspection. They found brakes still not properly repaired, the handbrake was still high and the adjuster cover broken. Front passenger door not sitting correctly in the frame. Passenger side vertical door seal (between front and rear door) absent. Rear bumper not fitted correctly. Front suspension drivers side lower arm badly corroded and delamination. I rejected the car and took their courtesy car back the (approx) 160 miles. On arrival I could see the car back on the forecourt seemingly back on sale less than 48 hours after the AA report. They refunded me within two hours.
