I've used this garage for two years and it's been great. Took my car in a week ago as I had fuel leaking from somewhere - the fumes were strong inside the car. The garage diagnosed the problem and replaced the hose under the bonnet, or part of it, that delivers the fuel to the engine. It was £40 cash. Two days after I got it back the fumes had returned stronger than ever. I booked the car in for Friday 22nd Sept and the owner seemed surprised to see me. He was immediately aggressive about the problem having not gone away. He opened my bonnet and pointed to his repair saying 'see it's dry'. He was totally unwilling to look at the possibility that maybe the repair he undertook hadn't fixed the problem. He was combative in the extreme. I remained calm and polite but I asked him to take the car and look again, as I had booked it in. He slammed my car bonnet down and when I asked him what the problem is he yelled 'you are'. He was so rude it took my breath away. He said to go away and not come back. I was staggered. He hadn't even remembered I was booked in. I would previously have given this garage five stars for everything, but today was absolutely appalling and it left me shaking. I now have to find another garage as I can't be exposed to such abuse a second time. I was actually a bit scared of him. I would advise no-one to use this garage. Note - most of the reviews on here are very old. This is how they now treat people.

I have taken my cars here for many years ,,, friendly and helpful , great at keeping the costs down as much as possible . I would recommend this garage to anyone .

Highly recommended by friends a year ago. We have now had our 5 family members` cars and 1 van all variously serviced, repaired, MOT`d, and we can`t offer any negative or poor report on any aspect of the good old fashioned service that we have all received. They are not a big flash fancy outfit that has high overheads and a matching hourly rate, but they are fully up to date on all the current technology and equipment, and obviously are fully up to speed on using it. Lee and his small team are a credit to their profession, which of course has often been described as the third oldest in the world after ladies of a certain ill repute and lawyers.
