I have used this garage since I bought my first of 2 C class estates, when I saw the hourly rates charged by main dealers. They were charging less than half the rate of the main dealers, to have the work done by a very experienced Mercedes service engineer, instead of an apprentice. I am not sure what current Mercedes rates are, but Protec's have not gone up much since 2007. They are happy to fit me in at short notice and for me to wait whilst the service is done. I have not had even the smallest matter to complain about since then, service and repairs have been faultless. At the end of each service, I get a report on any future possible problems, now many miles are left on the brake discs etc. I have never been given that at any garage I have used before. If you run a Mercedes and live anywhere near Newbury, I heartily recommend Protec to you
