Presteigne Tyre Services quickly and efficiently replaced an alternator and alternator belt on a ten-year old Honda Accord, after the battery light started to come on intermittently while driving, with slight thrashing noises coming from the alternator. The noises had become gradually more noticeable over a period of a couple of weeks. The garage provided a courtesy drop off and pick up service for the driver and completed the work in the space of a morning. This enabled a delayed 200-mile essential journey to be completed in the afternoon. The owner and team at the garage were friendly and helpful and their labour charges were reasonable and competitive. This was our first experience of what is clearly a very good local garage, with a deserved reputation for service.
