Looking for a good garage to service the family cars main dealers not so good tried this garage on a friends recommendation. booked service good price all work done staff polite advised me on things about the car and service which main dealer had not would recommend this garage

Needless to say, I have no connection with this company or its personnel. Although they specialise in Porsches and other desirable machinery, they also service, repair and MoT any car, including a service/MoT on my my Vectra CDTi Elite in 2011. Late on Xmas eve 2011, my car suffered a broken front coil spring in the wilds of Derbyshire and it was recovered (thanks to Warranty Direct) to my home. I then went on holiday abroad for a week over new year and John at Porsche & Euro Car Specialists near Barnsley sorted everything out for me. He collected the car, texted me to let me know the extent of the damage (physical and cost-wise) and undertook the repairs, including: Two front coil springs as there's no point in replacing one; changing the cam belt/tensioners that need replacing at 100,000 miles on the 150bhp diesel; and supplied and fitted a new water temperature sender unit as the original had become erratic. The total for this, including VAT, was £420 which I consider to be a bargain.
