Haa my usual MOT, done passed, with a few minor advisories but no pressure to have any work done.

***PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER GETTING AN MOT WITH THIS SHOWER FOR SERVERAL YEARS*** I had my MOT done by the garage for several years with no issues until this year that is. Then all of a sudden my brakes ratio was dangerous, my brake pads AND discs needed changing. Two font tyres were dangerous accordiing to this shower and then they try to charge me over £450 to fix it. Ok I thought, I will go to a reputable main dealership for the manufacturer of my particualr car and low and behold all these so called "dangerous" parts on my car were in fact a lie and the car passed the MOT with flying colours. SO BE WARNED, this garage will let customers build up a good relationship for so many years and then BANG they will try and make a massive amount of money out of you for making up issues which dont exist on your car. They are relying on the good relationship you have had for years so that you will just believe that what they are saying is true and just pay for they to fix dangerous problems which actually dont exist. I WILL NEVER use a cowboy garage like this again and like the main delearship said to me, they are not on any commission to purposefully fail cars on an MOT and create problems that dont exist whereas this garage is their livelhood so they are making there money out of pulling tricks like this but ONLY after a few years of they gaining your trust. AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Went for an MOT, they claimed it failed and I needed repairs doing at a cost of £1206. Weeks of stress trying to save money, only to take it to another local garage and it passed first time. I’ve complained to the DVSA as judging by the reviews, this is common practice. Do NOT take your car here. I wish I’d read the reviews earlier and would give it no stars if possible. PLEASE AVOID!

Failed my mot and was quoted £360 to get it fixed. When I came to pay apparently that was “underpriced so the price had gone up to £460 plus £35 for mot. Went in with a full tank of fuel and when my car was returned the tank was empty because “they don’t have the facilities to store it”. Do not go here!

Good local garage with Mot for £35. Reset the air bag light on my BMW for reasonable charge.

I enquired over the telephone, regarding the price and availability of tyres. I was pleased in the way the staff at PMB handled my enquire and I eventually chose a mid priced, mid range tyre. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and my tyres were fitted within 15 minutes. No fuss, no gimmicks, no catches, no hidden charges. I will pop in for my MOT next month. Thank you. called in saturday morning for an unexpected and emergency exhaust and tyre repair. the exhaust price was very competitive and carries a good guarantee. I opted for the mid priced tyres. great value. staff where pleasant and the car was repaired in a couple of hours. for an independent garage i give them my thumbs up.

upon arriving i was greeted by a lady service manager Who greeted my by my name as per my booking ( nice touch) Advised the test would be appx 1 hr So i sat back and watched my mot test take place I was taken by just how buisy and polite karen was with clients and very informative !!! I was aware that my vehicle was wanting some minor repairs prior to the mot test ( i was advised by the main agent on a previous service) So it came as no suprise the mot failure matched my knowledge My vehicle still being under warranty karen knew that main agent parts would be reqd to comply with my remaining warranty !!! ( very impressed ) Repairs completed !!!! Very satisfied !!! And will recommend !!! I would like to point this out clearly If !!!!!!! You are looking for ultra cheapo quotes or to cut corners on your cars maintenance Price wise you will not get that Here at pmb !! ( but are very very good value still ) Yes they are great value for money and very profesional in their approach !! I would prefer to pay that little bit more For name branded parts or main agent parts Not whitebox or chinese spurious parts which are available Karen and co see you next yr Bernstein/ renault megan

I rang up PMB yesterday to book my car in for an mot.Took my car today..my car passed its mot and i now have a 13 month mot..brilliant,proffessional friendly staff..Its nice to be treated like a person instead of a number....can highly recommend anyone wanting to take their pride and joy to PMB CAR CARE CENTRE...

I was recommended to PMB by a friend as i got fed up of being let down and over charged. I was reluctant to travel from cheshire to near Bury (almost 25 miles) but needed to see if they were as good as recommended by my friend who lives in Whitefield which is near PMB. This was in 2014 and ive been going back everytime one of our three cars needs a service , MOT or any ither work. I took my Land Rover Defender into them just last Saturday to look at a starting problem!! Today i got a call to say all identified and gave me a price. They atent a back street cheapo place , reckon mid priced but absolutely love going there. Even call at mcdonalds before i go into collect me cars and take the staff burhers n drinks! Like famiky now. Im hooked and wouldnt go anywhere else now.

Had my yearly MOT and service done. Extremely happy with the lady receptionist. Reasonably priced which certainly helped and I came to PMB on a neighbour's recommendation who has been using the garage for many years. One major thing I was happy with was that PMB gave me a quote using genuine main agent parts not cheap after market parts giving me the confidence in the repairs. Service book stamped and a happy lady driver. Will return next year, thank you Karen and thank you PMB.

Last week I got my MOT done at PMB garage, Whitefield. It needed brake pads and discs and they said this would cost £210 (in addition to the £35 MOT) for work. I took it to 2 other garages in the area who quoted between £125 and £135 for the work. Over £80 difference!! PMB insinuated that the work would be shoddy because the price was so low and tried to scare me into using them - I am a young female who doesn't know a great deal about cars and thought this was really shocking behaviour. One mechanic even told me that I had a third left on them and that the was fit to use for a few more months! Anyway I got the cheaper work done and returned to PMB where they had no choice but to pass. Would NOT recommend.

i have been using PMB on and off for a couple of years. i have always found the reception woman very pleasant. on this particular visit, my astra had a full service and is running fantastic afterwards. Karen also informed me that i had a nail in one tyre which was repaired. the thing i like about dealing with this garage is the the telephone to discuss before they carry out any additional work. i since have recommended to friends and their feedback has been very positive.

I want to thank PMB garage and the way they looked after my mother. Unfortunately as a senior driver she put petrol in her diesel car. They turned the repair around in 2 hours and even dropped mum off at home and collected her. This is the reason we continue to support and use PMB Car Care Centre. They always go the extra mile. Thanks everybody and a huge thank you from mum.

Lady driver, very happy with the service. Called in for an MOT and service. Found the staff very informative. I did choose to have some remedial repairs undertaken after I priced the work locally. The few times we have used this garage for MOT the price seems the same always something wrong bringing the price to £400 .
