North Oxford Garage

The BMW I have had for the past three years has been fantastic, I can't fault it at all. However, I am seriously being put off ever using BMW again due to the the poor service levels provided by this garage. I agreed a service price and which included the re aligning of my fog light with a service representative only to be told this had increased after I'd dropped the car off. For undoing a few screws and re positioning the fog light (around 45 min work - yes I've now watched a video of this on Youtube!) this garage charged me an additional £130, on top of the £700 service. Whats more, following this service and after around 50 miles the car started displaying an error advising that the coolant required topping up. By this time I was stating my journey to the South of France, which is why I booked the service in in the first place. On questioning the price of the fog light re alignment it was suggested that I should do it myself, and on questioning the lack of coolant provided in the extortionate service, I was advised that it was checked and met the required levels! I wonder what else was checked. They did provide me a video of then checking the brake and tires tyre wear, which funny enough I can easily check myself. But no video of the replacement of filters, coolant, oil etc!

You buy BMW for quality. My advice do not buy a BMW if you have to use North Oxford BMW. They are shocking and have extremely poor technicians. They have had my car in a total of 8 times and could not fix an issue with the seat. Also had a pair of sunglasses go missing on one occasion it was in yet they did nothing about looking into it and strangely the technician has left. Poor Poor Poor

Took my 2 years old BMW 3 Series for a brake fluid service. Called the garage prior to my visit and was quoted £80.80. Upon completion of the service the garage invoiced me over £125. I queried the invoice with the guy at the service desk but he didn't really acknowledge my complaint that the price was incorrect. I assumed that it was my mistake and the quote they had given me did not include VAT + Brake Fluid. However, I checked the quoted price on the BMW Website and it is indeed £80.80 for a full brake fluid check covering the entire scope of the service that North Oxford BMW performed. I called them immediately after I returned home from the service to complain but they have been too busy to speak to me, so far I have only managed to explain my issue to the receptionist. I will wait and see what the outcome is but I am not impressed with the level of service so far. Furthermore, they have left dirty scuff marks near the sill inside the driver's door. Updated the score since the garage have refunded the difference.

Well designed Service Reception. Friendly cheerful staff and provide all necessary information in clear precise manner. Reasonable service rates as well !
