I had the misfortune to break down on Dartmoor because of a dead battery. To compound matters, my MOT expired at the same time. Within two days, Pottery Lane garage had replaced the battery, fitted new rear brake pads and got my though the MOT with no fuss at all. The labour charges were very reasonable indeed, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys, excellent service with a fast turnaround. A+++++

Run by a chap called Ian - he's a one-man band with 2 bays. He's serviced/repaired our cars for a few years now and has always provided a superb, knowledgeable service. He will always try to make do and mend if you ask him, and he definitely won't ever do work that's unnecessary. He will always try to source the parts you want, giving the choice between aftermarket and OEM, explaining the difference carefully. He offers a collection/delivery service locally. Note for potential new customers - he has an ENORMOUS rottweiler who kips in the back of a car and who is prone to popping out and welcoming customers enthusiastically. Customers are always treated with huge affection; thieves less so, I imagine!
