My car's DPF filter was blocked, and Monnington said they'd be able to sort it. I dropped the car off on a Monday. I didn't get it back until 10 days later. The service was slow. I told them how important it was I had my car back because of significant family issues, and yet they did not work on my car at any speed. One day I rang to find out what was happening and no-one was working on the car and wouldn't be that day, even though I had explained how important it was I had a car. The day before the car was fixed they offered me a car to use. Communication was poor. I often had to ring to find out what was happening. Just small updates would have been helpful. But they rang me straight away when the bill was ready! Advice was terrible. They advised one course of action, costing me a few hundred pounds, and then told me that the course of action did not work. My bill was enourmous. I did write an email sharing my poor experience, and the reply tried to absolve themselves of all responsibility. Even after all the time and expense no-one offered an apology when I picked the car up. Won't be using them again.

This garage has built up a excellent reputation over the years of offering good, no nonsense advice about various motoring repairs/ongoing servicing. They do not try to flog you an unnecessary replacement/repair to make money but will give you an honest opinion on when you really do need to get something done.

Couldn't fault this garage. Brole down nearby with a perished "fan" belt, now called auxiliary drive belt. Was back on the road in about six working hours. Very impressed. Don't live close but would certainly make a journey to have work done here. Very confident ion the work. Thanks Afrian.

I have used this garage for many years. They do what is needed economically, and are always helpful with courtesy cars, etc.
