Mitchell's Renault, Lowestoft

Arrived on a Saturday morning unable to open the rear doors to my Kangoo van with a full load on board. Receptionist called for a mechanic who spent 20 minutes with tools and a torch working his way past my cargo to locate the problem and free the door. As it was an unusual part the spare was, understandably, not available immediately but the mechanic effected a temporary repair so that I could access the cargo and continue using the van - he also called the parts manager to make a visual inspection and order a part for me - subsequently phoned later that day to say the part was ordered and would be delivered to my nearest Renault dealer. No payment accepted by the garage despite the time the receptionist, mechanic and parts manager afforded me. I would call this 5 star customer service - and incidentally the same 5 star service I have always received from Mitchell's of Great Yarmouth over the past ten years.
