"Expensive and not very mechanically talented"

On 24 December 2022 I called to get my car checked as was running on 3 cylinders. An appointed was taken for 9th January 2023. It took 3 weeks and numerous chasers from me to get someone to look at the car and advise that they thought an injector needed replaced (for which they charged £825). I got the car back in early February but noticed smoke coming out of the engine bay. I contacted Millennium Motors who told be this was due to spilled diesel and will clear out after a good run. A few days later, during the prescribed good run, the smoking became worse from the engine bay, through the exhaust, and a smell of diesel came into the car while driving. I brought the car back to Millennium Motors, who advised 6 days later the the diesel exhaust leak pipe was damaged and needed replaced. This had been damaged by Millennium Motors when replacing the injector, yet they charged me another £177 as 'a new job'. The mechanic showed me the diesel leak pipes with an O seal that was indeed damaged (I suspect while taking it out to acces the injector), Hence, not only did Millennium Motors took over three weeks to look at the car despite having an appointment, but they broke one part while replacing another, and charge over £1000 for it all. Oh and the car in question was a 2009 Ford TDCI, not really worth a lot in itself! I have tried contacting Millenium Motors, the garage and the dealership, to challenge the second bill, however there is now no replies from them. I would highly recommend to seek advance from other, more competent mechanics in Edinburgh. It seems that Millennium Motors is just used to stick MOTs and stamp service books to cars sold by the car dealer of the same name next door.

The staff is unprofessional and also lied to me about the car being in the service. Went there to check on it 3 hours later and I have been told that the car was taken to the service 5 min before I arrived. Also overpriced and they try and take as much as possible from you!

All work completed half-hearted by cheeky staff that don't care one ounce about your car and would rather have you buy a second hand one from their forecourt.

Please beware, read reviews on other websites & stay safe from a garage that are the worst I have had to deal with. In a nutshell broken promises, lies, aggression, work not being checked after apprentice done the work causing a repair bill. Worst management in the history of, well, history! Please do not mistake the pun, it's entirely meant.

having taken my car to another local garage and been given the list from hell on its mot a friend told me to go to millennium motors, I did and thank god I did. there was no hard sell no telling me my car was dangerous which it was not, just good honest advise on what was and was not needed to keep my car on the road. I have found a garage I trust and will keep I going there when ever I need to, and of course tell my friends to, in case you guys ever read this thanks guys.
