Whilst towing a caravan on holiday in West Sussex my Fiat Croma 1.9 JTD suddenly displayed a dashboard warning that it required an oil change. Not knowing the area and not wanting to delay changing the oil I used a local independent garage who changed the oil and filter. However, they were unable to clear the dashboard warning message and told me a main dealer would have to do it. Checking the internet I found out that it was crucial the message was reset otherwise the ECU may put the car into "limp home mode". I found Middleton Fiat were only a few miles from where we were staying so dropped in without an appointment and asked if they could reset the warning. ( I had read other some main dealers were charging a hefty price for this simple job). Without hesitation they took my car into the workshop whilst I waited and 10 minutes later the job was done. Fantastic service and, even more remarkable, they did not charge me a penny! The staff were genuinely helpful and wished us a pleasant holiday. So well done Middleton Fiat. I was so delighted I'll book the car in for an annual service with them when we return to West Sussex next year.
