Came to pick up the car after I was called to say that it is ready for collection. Lady at the reception was cold and and I was advised to wait in the waiting area. Waited for 5 minutes, and I then informed the lady that we were in a hurry as my wife had a hospital appointment to attend. I was asked to wait and she said she would inform the person. After another 4-5 minutes, I went up to the desk and mentioned that my wife had to attend the hospital appointment in Warwick and that we needed the car. The lady said that she has already informed the person. I asked where this person is located and why she can’t go physically ( rather than typing into the laptop). At this point, she said I was being rude. I said if that is the case, you are exceptionally rude. At this point she stormed into the back office & I went back to the reception area. Within a few minutes, the gentleman came and handed the key & summary. On my way out, I asked the lady if there was a feedback form. She said it is online. I asked her for her name ( to include in the complaint, so that other reception staff wouldn’t be implicated). She said she can’t give her name. I therefore noted the time ( it was 1.24 pm at that time). The lady’s poor attitude & communication skills spoilt the whole experience and caused unnecessary stress for everyone.
