Mercedes Benz Orpington, Orpington

I bought my car a Mercedes Benz C180 Blue Efficiency 1.8 Litre Petrol engine car from their Caterham branch. I live in Orpington and so this garage is very handy for me. I have visited this garage for three years running and am very pleased with their dealings with me which is very professional. In March 2013 They charged me £196 for a front tyre as it was below the MOT treads limit. I complained to the manager that the charge was too high as a local tyre dealer was offering the same tyre for £117 and he said to me that I was an important customer for him and refunded me £79 i.e. the overcharge. I have a Service Plan contract with them which means that I pay £31 per month by DD for 3 years and I do not pay anymore for my annual service regardless of how much the total cost for the service. Last year service was involved with the renewal of the camshaft belt which including labour cost which on its own would have cost me £350.00 plus the rest of the annual service which is roughly £350.00 including spares and labour cost. As I have a Service Plan contract with them I only paid the £31.00 per month DD and no more. I was given a free courtesy car which was another C180 (same car as I have) for the day while they carried out the entire service and the belt change. This is a Mercedes Benz garage and they do not carry out any body repair work but will put you in touch with their approved garage which is also approved by some insurance companies. Of course the tea, coffee etc come free of charge also. I can thoroughly recommend this garage to any Mercedes Benz owners.

I have had more than three visits to this garage and I must say that the people are very friendly, down to earth and honest. If there is any problem with my car they will not only put it right but before that they will advise me what the cost will be and if anybody can provide the same quality service in the area cheaper. These people are very high quality operators and as I have a Service Plan for my car with them it costs me a small amount of £31.00 by DD per month for my service regardless of what is involved (e.g. camshaft belt change). If I have the MOT done with the service then the charge is £35.00 for the MOT. If I have the MOT done later it will cost me £54.00. On top of that my Service Plan gives me a free loan car for the day. I can highly recommend this garage to anybody who has a Mercedes Benz car but I have not asked them whether they will service other makes of cars.
