3 and a half months. 3 and a half months my car (an ML) has been at this garage for repair with promises every single week that it would be ready the following week and promises of call backs and updates. Every week I have had to chase for answers - none given just more assurances that it was booked for time in the workshop. We knew it would not be an overnight job and discussed possible head gasket issue, that the cylinder heads would need to be checked for cracking etc when we placed the car in their “trusted” hands and we were assured (to our surprise) that the car would be turned around in 10 days…….this was at the beginning of April 2024! I have been told that many cars have been in and out of the garage in the time ours has sat unscheduled for the work to be done. No explanation as to why. Painfully, I felt in the end that I needed to explain (several times now) that my husband is terminally ill and we were having to put off important trips and family events as the saloon courtesy car was not fit for our needs. I also let them know that we have had to hire a van to use for family purposes that were planned with our ML in mind. The garage’s response?… nothing - only another promise of an update today. I am beyond upset at the distress this has caused our family. Our time and appropriate vehicle are so very precious. Prestigious, with a good reputation, we have used the garage several times before with no real problems (although never great with communication). It seems I have no choice but to wait.

Nothing is too much trouble. First class staff who deal with my queries promptly and efficiently.
