This independant recently replaced a nearside front caster arm and offside front brake pipe on my E30CDI which I bought of the main dealer in 2007 who had been servicing it since then. The main dealerships price for the job was £558 reduced to £500 when queried. This independents charge was £337.80. Not only was their charge much lower but later when I heard an unnatural growl when accelerating, I took it back to the independent who found an exhaust bracket vibrating that needed welding. Guess what - they did it and said no charge!! How often do you hear of that happening? Wonderful in this day and age. And they loaned me a car free of charge whilst doing the main repair.
