M J Fews, Charfield

We headed into MJ Fews to look at a car we’d seen online. The car was excellent and Steve C went to great trouble to talk us through all it’s spec and then let us take it for a test drive. At no point even for a moment did he try and sell it to us, instead he just let us look at it and make our own minds up. To be honest it wasn’t difficult, the car was brilliant and it was fairly priced. This felt like a perfect buying experience and there’s nothing they could have done better. No stupid frills, no excess of showroom spangle to persuade us (though I’d kill to take the lotus on a race track) and no salesman pressure at all; just very decent people selling very decent cars. Didn’t know garages like this still existed, what a breath of fresh air.
