Bought a 'new' car, of which the previous owner stated that the LPG wasn't working right, but he claimed he just used it on petrol. I phoned Simon to arrange a quick check after connecting the car, then took it straight to him. As it was, the LPG switching was working okay, just the owner hadn't understood how it worked... Simon reassured me and checked the operation of the LPG system and also the fuel trims on petrol & LPG, He also pointed out a couple of items of servicing I could do myself and also commented on a couple of points in the original installation which could have been improved, helping me to better understand how the system works

Firstly... This is my company! We work on and install a very wide range of LPG systems - There are many different systems, most LPG specialists are familiar with only a small subset of LPG systems, we know by far the majority of LPG systems and have facilities to diagnose and correct problems on them all. We are honest - There are many LPG companies that will incorrectly inform customers that their LPG system needs completely renewing when actually all that may be needed are minor parts! We are experts - We are gaining a growing reputation in the vehicle LPG conversion industry for getting excellent results converting the 'difficult to convert properly' vehicles (such as very high performance vehicles) that other companies avoid converting. On the other hand, this means that converting and repairing run of the mill vehicles and LPG systems, which we still do, doesn't really tax our skills much... We don't over-charge - Some LPG specialists charge £80 for a 10 minute diagnosis.. which they often get wrong! We charge fair rates for our time, much less than most regular garages per hour, our diagnosis are correct and we stand by them, we are unbiased when it comes to LPG systems, we are best placed to repair any LPG system.
