Had my service done at this garage over the last few years and would not go elsewhere. The staff are all friendly, they provide an honest assessment and tell me exactly what needs and does not need doing to my car. I dont think there is a more reliable mechanic at such good value.

After reading another review of this garage on this site, I decided to use an independent for the first time. The car was booked in promptly (my car had developed a power steering leak), the staff kept me well informed and carried out the work to a very good standard. I would easily recommend this garage to others.

I Had a major problem with the brakes on my car whilst visiting friends for the weekend in poole. Found Library road Garage on the good garage scheme website after being turned away by a local vauxhall dealer and another independant garage. It was a saturday morning and my brakes had failed on the way down from Nottingham, It was looking like i wasn't going to be able to get the car fixed until Monday. I gave Dan a call at Library Road Garage who told me to get the car to him ASAP for an inspection. He quickly diagnosed the problem and managed to source the parts required to make the repair. The Car was road worthy again by mid afternoon. I'd already had a quote from the other 2 garages so i knew roughly what to expect from Dan but was pleasantly surprised to find his bill almost £90 less. All in all a fantastic service at an extremely reasonable cost and the guy bent over backwards to help us out. If this is the kind of service he gives to someone he will probably never see again, i only wonder how well he looks after his regulars. Many Thanks Again
