I went to view a used Honda car that was advertised on autotrader by this dealership. I arrived at the dealership and looked around the car, I asked if someone could bring the keys so we could have a look at the interior and maybe testdrive the car. So far so good. We agreed to take the car for a short test drive where the salesman drove for a short distance and we swapped over at about half way. The car drove ok but was a little careworn in places but if the price was agreeable I would still have bought the car. While we were on the test drive the salesman asked if his manager could have my current cars keys to inspect it with relation to offering a part exchange price. When we got back we were left stood there for 10-15 mins with the salesman nowhere to be seen. When he returned he sat us down and to start with offered us a pittance (less than webuyanycar.com offered by £400) as a part exchange and were pushing finance which I didn't want or need. We pointed out the faults and marks which the salesman denied were there or said they had no knowledge of. We tried to leave several times and had to ask several times for my car keys back. When we got home we were still thinking of buying but the pushy sales didn't help plus we found the very same car on ebay for over £1500 less with all the faults highlighted. When the salesman contacted me the next day I told him about finding the car on ebay to which he tried to tell me how ebay works! Needless to say he didn't mention it was for sale on ebay at any time and that together with the pushy sales technique I decided to buy elsewhere. The car I was looking at only had a windscreen price of less than £4000 so wasn't a mega expensive car but if it wasn't for the above I would have bought the car or at least another of the same type.

I went to potentially buy a new CRV. After much pressure sales and ignoring my requests to return the keys of my trade-in, I demanded my keys back and went elsewhere. What a way to try and sell you a car.
