I would entirely recommend the specialist, great honest and through service. No assumptions and from advice I was content with what was required to be fixed. highly recommended specialist for german cars. I have visited many garages who want sales more than a quality service but this chap works with passion and heart to the job. goes the extra mile and Values the customer.

Did the usual when looking for a garage to service my polo searched the web. Found ISA Technik I am so glad I did, my polo had a full service, Iain explained everything and even had the old parts ready to show me when I went to collect the car and had changed my number plate light for free. My search is now over will be going back when the MOT comes around. If your looking for a garage that knows how to look after your VW then give lain a call.

Needed a cambelt and water pump for a VW T5 camper and searched for local repairers in the Birmingham area. We were very impressed by the reviews of Iain at ISA Technik. His quote was much lower that local main dealers and I was very impressed with his obvious VW knowledge. He really knows his stuff and provided a level of service that main dealers need to embrace (but don't). He checked the van out and found other areas that rightly needed attention but did not put any pressure, what so ever, on having this work done.... you would not get that with a main dealer with all of their sales targets to exceed!!! He kept me fully informed at all stages. I unreservedly recommend Iain as I found him to be trustworthy and obviously a very skilled technician - even my wife who is very suspicious by nature, was very impressed. We will certainly be using Iain for all our future servicing needs.

I took my VW Bora to ISA Technik having just bought it. I knew it needed a cambelt and water pump change and wasn't sure what else might need attention. I shopped around for quotes and found ISA Technik were among the cheapest but I also read the reviews on this website and that really swung it. I spoke to the proprietor Iain and explained what I needed - i.e. the cambelt and water pump and I asked him to give it a general look-over as well. He was more than happy to talk to me at length and I was was reassured by his friendly, knowledgeable manner. Iain did the work as required and talked me through a couple of other issues. He didn't pressure me at all to have work done that could wait, but he just pointed out things that would need attention at some point. I must say I am no kind of car expert and I get nervous about dealing with garages but I will most definitely be returning to ISA Technik. Iain, in my opinion, is an honest, trustworthy and skilled mechanic who does an excellent job at a very fair price. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Took my VW Polo over at Iain ISA Technik for a cambelt and waterpump change the price he gave me was unbeatable and I did shop around a lot. What shocked me was I mentioned a couple of issues I had with the car and he immediately plugged the VAG-COM tool to diagnose the problem at no extra charge, he cleared some faults and reassured me about any questions/worries I had with my vehicle. Iain will go the extra mile and then some for a customer I couldn’t be happier with the service I received he also did a full investigation of the car and gave me a full health report again at no extra charge. A few things that other mechanics suggested I should change don’t need changing after all!! Needless to say I will be an ISA Technic customer for life will be back for a service and MOT in a months time since his service and prices are unbeatable. He is a rare human being didn’t even know you could find such an honest mechanic after 5 years of looking I finally found the best of the best. He also kept any old parts he replaced and showed me any wear and tear for my own interest. He knew my vehicle inside out first time I felt comfortable leaving my car on a garage and I have tried all vw dealerships and most vw specialists in the midlands they are no match for ISA Technik!

Second VW service by this garage ( first was when based in Hollywood as a partner of volkswizard before moving to acocks green) and again great service. Charges less than main dealer and clearly knows VWs inside out. Its sort of how it should be - turn up get your car done without worrying about comedy extras being added on by technicians trying to hit quota. Just make sure you listen to the last bit of the directions - its fairly easy to get to but you have to carry on past the main units once you are on bridge walk and head past the little bungalow at the end, through the funny chicane and you see it straight away next to the caravans.

As a woman you always get the feeling you might be taken advantage of when having your car worked on, not so with ISA Technik, Iain, the owner was very polite and took time to explain things to me even though I clearly had no idea what he was on about ! The work I had carried out was a Cambelt and Waterpump change on my Polo 1.9tdi for a very reasonable price using Genuine VW Parts and while I was having that done there were a few other niggling issues I wanted looking at, these other jobs were completed with only the parts required being charged for with no extra labour or diagnosis costs. I even got offered a free lift to work which I gladly accepted even though I could see he was very busy, all work was completed by the time I said I needed the car back and I was kept totally informed of any other work or parts that were required, an added bonus was that Iain even offered to pick me up from work, wow, you don’t get that kind of service from main dealers and not many other garages in my experience, all in all an excellent garage with a clearly knowledgeable and very enthusiastic mechanic / owner. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone, especially women, looking for a polite and honest service on their VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda, well done ISA Technik for changing my opinion of garages.
