"Lowest standards, integrity and professionalism"

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Innerlink Motor Company. My experience highlights extremely poor professional workmanship, integrity issues, and shocking customer service. Initial Work: I had both front coil springs, top mount bearings, and shock absorbers replaced between 7th–16th April, along with a wheel refurbishment (3rd party) The bill came to £1,029. On collection, I immediately noticed the OS top mount was not serviceable (making a noise) and also saw damage to both wheel arches, which I showed and sent photos along with emails. Repeated Failures: Despite reporting issues, nothing was done until 13th June – after weeks of chasing and having already paid. The company claimed test drives had been carried out with “no issues,” yet the fault was obvious within a few feet once another manager listened. Further Problems: After the delayed replacement, I drove home only to hear another knock. This time the OS shock absorber was leaking, and I discovered whilst confirming the leak, they had damaged the brake disc guard and failed to refit the ABS sensor cable bracket. I sent photos and evidence but received no reply. When I called, the owner was dismissive, rude, and refused to work on the car further because I was “complaining.” Dishonesty: Repeatedly denied any damage and the ploy used was to deny and ignore, with the hope that I would eventually give up. Absurdi professionalism: I was told to take the car to GSF to confirm the OS shock absorber fault – a pathetic and ridiculous request, like asking for a rare steak and being served well done in a restaurant and the chef telling you to complain to the butcher. Even GSF’s manager was astonished by Innerlink Motorsing Company's behaviour and lack of accountability. Resolution: Eventually, the OS shock absorber was replaced, but the process was dragged out unnecessarily. But I got advice from Citizens Advice, raised a dispute which resulted in a refund of £870 through my credit card under the Consumer Rights Act and Section 27 of the Financial Agreement. Standards & Integrity: The owner even admitted and I quote 'that if he paid for all his mistakes, he would be out of business'. Innerlink Motor Company is not a member of any Motoring Standards institutes – and after my experience, I can see why. You only discover the true standards of a business when things go wrong. In this case, Innerlink Motor Company showed poor professional workmanship, dishonesty, and rudeness. I will let others decide for themselves, but based on my experience: avoid at all costs.

I dropped my car off at Innerlink Motors (http://www.innerlinkmotors.co.uk) at 8am, nice and early before work! I went off to work and within an hour I got a phone call from the mechanic saying the MOT was done. No problems and I picked my car up on my lunch break.
