I've been using this main dealer for servicing and repairs for many years with my Caddy van and now Polo TDi and every visit has been a pleasure. Staff are always pleasant and welcoming, the showroom and service dept spotless and unlike most garages communication is excellent with you kept fully in the loop at all times. Costs are reasonable, they'll pricematch or come very close to other local garages so it's not as costly as you think to maintain a full main dealer history. The vehicle is always returned fully cleaned inside and out and work is always carried out to a high standard with fault diagnosis never having required a second visit from me. They've gained several out of warranty goodwill claims on my behalf on our Polo for minor problems, one over a year after the warranty expired and at the latest service stripped down and cleaned the rear brakes free of charge. They also managed to claim a new clutch from VW for my Caddy van at 20,000 miles due to a nasty judder when cold. I had expected to have a fight on my hands or at least be obliged to pay a share for the use I'd made to date but not a moments trouble was had. Van went in, fault diagnosed and VW agreed to replace it foc. Again the vehicle was returned spotless inside and out which considering it was a used working van was excellent. When I went to sell the van that dealer service history made all the difference and I was inundated with interest and offers in the one day it was on Autotrader, I could've sold it ten times over. Such is the value of a dealer history and with an excellent dealer like Ingram it's not costly to keep it up to date.
