James did some work on my Toyota Camry today. He got me in short notice and was done quickly. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend and will come here again!

Being new to the area, it’s difficult finding a decent garage you can trust. I found this one searching google and booked my car in for repairs which were sorted first time round. I am very impressed. Max has excellent knowledge of both our Vauxhall and Hyundai and has sorted out repairs and tyres for us. I would recommend Max and his son to anyone locally. Friendly, reliable, trustworthy, reasonably priced. We are customers for life!

Hofman motors have looked after all the cars we have owned. A great loss when Max went touring the world! Thankfully he returned. Max is our first port of call when there is any trouble with the cars. Excellent subject knowledge of the mechanics that goes under the bonnet. Always happy to help and will do his utmost to have the car back on the road as soon as possible. Now that he has been joined by his son James we are safe in the knowledge that the family tradition, of honest, competent workmanship will continue.

Having had a run in with a kerb on my way to work, I visited Hofman Motors as they are on the same Industrial Estate as my work, and they had been recommended to me. It soon became evident why they had been recommended, They were good enough to point out the the damage I had done that day wasn't an issue as the area was sacrificial, being diligent though, they had look over all the tyres and pointed out that one had perished to the point where it had spilt. I hadn't noticed up to that point and would probably have continued driving on it until something terrible happened. When I took it back to have the tyre replaced, they topped up my fluids and checked the state of the oil etc. They didn't charge me for that part of the service, and the price for replacing the tyre was much less than I'd expected. With service, diligence and honesty like that, I have no reservations recommending Hofman Motors to anyone and everyone...and I often do.

Can't recommend Max and his son highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I turn up asking to borrow a tool on a Sunday afternoon. Usually can get things sorted within a day, and his knowledge/experience has almost no limits.

I have a 2004 Touareg V6 Petrol that had a major electrical fault "Steering Defective Workshop" searching the internet showed that the usual outcome is a new steering column at VW for £2,000. Hoffman Motors persevered in trying to sort out the problem and managed to fix the problem that was computer related for a cost of £230. Previous servicing has been very reasonable and the attention to detail and post service advice as to what has been done is always good to hear.
