Turned up for the below confirmed booking and spoke to Jack, who told me he was the general manager. 1. He told me I didn't need my booking email printout - he had it all on system 2. He then told me that I was only booked in for a brake check, not tyres. 3. He then reluctantly looked at the below booking printout - showing the 4 tyres 4. After shouting at the assembled mechanics, he confirmed there were no tyres 5. Jack was keen to point out this wasn't his fault - it was head office 6. When I asked who was in charge, he said Andy Dobson was the local area manager - "but he won't care - this is a problem with the head office" 7. He cancelled the appointment and told me I'd get a refund. I am not convinced - his screen only showed the brake check 8. No apology / lots of blaming head office / generally not taking ownership I would not waste time with this lot - go to a proper garage.

Avoid Halfords Autocentres just go somewhere else! We had a major service and MOT at Keighley. During the service they have overfilled our Mercedes car with engine oil and damaged the engine. At first they admitted their mistake and agreed to repair the car. However since finding out it needs to be repaired at a Main Dealer they have done nothing but procrastinate and try and blame us. The customer support doesn’t exist and their attitude is appalling. We are now having to get solicitors involved in order to get our car fixed. Nightmare!

We sent the car for service and MoT. Previously it was done at the main dealer, but they have relocated and are now too far away. We got quotes from local garages and a Halfords came out as best value. Our son recommended this auto centre as he has had his car serviced there. Although dropping the car later than planned, the work was done and there was no pressure to have unnecessary work done. The staff were very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Thank you.
