Dear Honest John I recently decided to upgrade the standard headlamp bulbs in our Land Rover 110 to something rather brighter, but still legal for road use. On checking the handbook the headlamp bulbs are listed as H7s, so two were ordered from eBay. When they arrived the lugs were completely different to what was on the car. Land Rover Customer Service were contacted, and not only supplied the proper bulbs free of cost, but also arranged for the local main dealer, Guy Salmon of Bristol, to fit them free of charge. The vehicle was also valeted. Very impressive to not only supply the bulbs but fit them too, on a vehicle which is four and a half years old.
