Grants Garage, Brighton

I am visiting Brighton for North Wales and had an issue with my car, I was recommended the garage by a local person and I have to say absolutely spot on a great garage excellent customer service speedy repair nothing too much of an issue and had got the car sorted so I can safely travel back to north Wales. Thank you so much to all!

Mercedes service & MOT, collected car from my home & returned late afternoon at no extra charge. All of their team are polite, friendly, efficient & extremely helpful. Although the garage area was a little cramped it looked to be a tidy & safe environment to work in. Would recommend to anyone & I will be returning again & again.

These guys are so nice, really helpful, friendly and experienced. They were very busy when we went in, and despite this nothing was too much trouble. Realigning my washer jets and they did something magical to my heater, that now works like a dream. Nothing negative to say. Highly recommended. 10/10 ***************************

Unfortunately we found the service and communication from this garage to be very poor. They first quoted extortionate amounts for diagnostics - then agreed a price and and went back on the agreed price so this had to be re-clarified. We chose to move to a more trustworthy and better priced garage and when the car was being moved it was noted that Grants had not fixed everything back in place, the had not returned the vehicle in the same and appropriate condition it was given to them in and they tried saying they did us a favor. Poor communication, poor service and no apology. Take your car elsewhere.

My friend recommended this garage to be about 4 years ago. Not only do they do repairs & MOT's on my car, but also my daughters. They pick the car up from our house in Southwick and return it in the evening. I have found the garage to be very honest & trustworthy. Just purchased a new car, so MOT not due until next July now, but my daughters MOT is due on her little X reg Mercedes, beginning Oct and we wouldn't hesitate to use Grants Garage.

Had an oil pressure problem at higher revs. As we were 150 miles from home had to find a garage locally to resolve it. We had the good luck to find Grants where they fixed not only the oil pressure problem but also another niggling issue that the garage at home in Birmingham had failed to fix. Turned out to be the sump oil strainer was clogged with sludge. The bill was reasonable and giave advice on using better grade oil (which had probably not been the case when previously serviced). They are obviously up to speed on current engine technology and know what they're talking about. 'Thinking about coordinating future visits to Brighton with vehicle servicing. Thanks Grants Garage, we'll be back.

Have given a decade of good, reasonably priced services and MOTs on the various cars that we have owned from classic Mercedes to Jeeps. Their in house MOT station makes it easier for them to service and ensure that your car passes its test.
