I have an imported Honda CRV, which was purchased from Motorpoint. At the time of purchase (July 2013) I was informed that the vehicle came with a 2 year European warranty. All fine until i had to make a claim under the warranty for a faulty shock absorber. Booked it into the Honda dealer, took the car up there and that was where the problems began. I thought i had registered myself as the keeper with Honda, but it appears not. This is where the dealership showed their true colours. The gentleman who dealt with me took over the problem and once i had supplied him with a copy of the V5 he dealt with Honda direct and 2 days later i received a telephone call from him to tell me that Honda had agreed a 3 year warranty and the repairs were authorised. he has even arranged for my car to be picked up, as i will be unable to drive on the date it is booked in. So nice to find someone who goes the extra mile!
