Good service for MOT with helpful explanations

I have been using this garage for MOT testing since 2006, On the few occasions when there has been a failure, the reasons for this have been clearly explained and as I (almost) always do my own maintenance there has never been any pressure to "drum up trade". On all such occasions I have been asked to return for re test of the failure items within 7 days. They are a friendly, family run business

I would echo everything that Mr Probert says in his review. I recently had a breakdown locally and took my Rover 75 Tourer to them. They saved me a fortune by drying out the ECU rather than immediately wanting to replace it, and everything that that entails, as all too many garages do.

I have used this garage for repairs and MOTs over a few years on the recommendation of friends in the area. They are always eager to please, very obliging and courteous. MOTs can usually be accommodated within a couple of hours of a phone call. A recent emergency repair to a broken front spring was done within 24 hours. Another repair was done very quickly. This garage doesn't charge silly prices, It isn't 'posh' but don't be put off. These guys seem to know their business. On my experience I would recommend this garage as a trustworthy, family-run business.
