Just had my car 'Full service' at Fox Garage, I had decided to try a local business. They 'completed' a service but had 'forgotten' the original fault it went in for. I received the usual garage call where they try to push other things to boost the bill. Sadly this is more like conveyor belt service, cars in cars out take the money. They do not test drive vehicles. After driving the vehicle home the only noticeable difference is they topped up the screen wash. I was left with an overwhelming feeling of why did I bother? Next time I will try to find a garage that actually takes an interest in the work, not this one.

I dropped my car in last week to have a full vehicle health check and the team really went above and beyond for me. They replaced my Cambelt my Water Pump my front brake pads and discs, and my front tyres. The girls at the garage really impressed me with their friendly approach and knowledge around all things Automotive. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and when I picked up my car I was very impressed with the quality of work the technicians carried out. I highly recommend this Garage for all things Automotive. The price was more than competitive too. A very happy customer indeed.

My family have been using and recommending this garage for many years. The service I have received from them this year has been terrible and unrecognisable from what it once was. My car began to leak in the driver footwell and they accepted it for investigation. Due to an accident in their workshop I received a call that they would be delayed starting work on my car and I could collect it if I needed it, I didn’t so decided to leave it there. I noticed going past their car park later that day that my car had been left uncovered outside in the rain so I picked the car up as I didn’t want the water egress to get even worse. Their investigation found a faulty seal on the driver’s door, I authorised and paid for the work and asked for advice regarding the interior of the car. When picking up the car there was nobody available to speak to about the interior and no advisory note on the bill, although very helpful the reception staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and had no information so I decided it might be better to complete the repair elsewhere. I could still hear water sloshing under the dashboard but the valet I booked in with said they could remove it when they serviced the car. On accepting the car their immediate opinion was that the car had not been repaired, after 24 hrs they refused to continue the service and returned the car. I drove the car once back to Fox during a rain storm and the driver footwell once again filled with water. Their opinion now is that the windscreen is faulty and as they do not replace screens they appear to want to leave me with the problem. Despite initially agreeing that their service has not been satisfactory and Tom, the manager, explaining that he would look into mitigating the cost of a new windscreen against the original repair I have not received the promised phone call (twice now) or had a reply to my email. I have also returned to the garage in person to try and resolve this problem. If, like us, you confidently leave your car in their hands because of previous impeccable service I would say be very cautious in future. Sadly my recent experience has found this garage to be unprofessional, incompetent and somewhat disingenuous.

Have been using Fox Garage for several years for four different cars. Always very satisfied with the service provided. Prices are reasonable and there is a fixed rate for servicing that is advised when booking. My wife feels comfortable using Fox Garage and does not feel that she is being treated differently because she is a woman.

Recently purchased a Zafira from a local dealer the radio of which was not working. The Service Book showed this car was supplied by Fox in 2002. I emailed Fox, more in hope than expectation, asking if they had any record of the radio code. Within two hours I had a reply supplying the correct code!
