Foster & Heanes, Dogmersfield

I have been using Foster and Heanes for over 6 years now with my Subaru. Never once have they let me down. They are honest and reliable and I have never ever felt ripped off. They are friendly and helpful - I have never been to a better garage.

I discovered Foster & Heanes in Dogmersfield completely by chance. Driving to work a few days ago the turbo failed on my 57-plate Citroen C4 1.6HDi. While at the roadside waiting for a recovery truck, I phoned my main dealer, who quoted a crazy amount to fix it. The recovery driver, who was local, suggested getting a quote from Foster and Heanes as they were close to both my place of work and where the car conked out (he was equally horrified at the main dealer quote for the repair). I'm so glad he suggested them. They did a fantastic job on the car, getting it fixed in just a day and a half, and for roughly 40% of the price the main dealer quoted me. Foster and Heanes even went out of their way to find me a car to use while mine was off the road, realising that I lived 35 miles away and would struggle to get home via public transport. I've been ripped off so many times by garages, either by overcharging or simply not doing the work they claim to have done - it it great when you find a garage that is honest, fairly priced and looks after your car like Foster and Heanes did. I will definitely use them again.

Very good service at this garage really impressed with their knowledge. Nothing flash just good old fashioned customer service. Mot's at £39.95 without any catches (if you know what I mean)

They really care. Yes, honestly - they are quick, efficient and want to do the best for their customers. An old-fashioned courtesy and efficiency that seldom exists nowadays. This is probably because they are a family firm. I'm grateful to the friend who recommended them which is why I'm bothering to fill this in. Give them a try.

A village garage with some of the best technicians you will find anywhere. They seem to attract some of the most intelligent staff who have decided that trying to 'beat-the-clock' on book times for bonus in a franchised dealership is not the best way to earn a living or to serve the best interests of motorists. Consequently you have people who genuinely know what they're doing in a workshop that gets it right first time at a fair price. I realise that by recommending them I'm probably extending their lead times against my own best interests, but they really do deserve to prosper. They are not accountant-led like so many motor trade businesses and appear to genuinely love working on cars. What's more they're very good at it.
