I took a 2007 BMW118d to Forshaws other garage at Nelson, Lancashire which was due for a routine service instead of under the BMW prepaid 5 year service plan. Why? Because the car was showing an ABS system fault which the BMW agent wanted £65.00 to connect the car to the diagnostics computer even though it would be connected to it during the service. The car was out of warranty but had covered only 27,000 miles. Forshaws diagnosed the fault in the ABS block, got BMW to pay for a replacement part £800.00 plus VAT and only charged £80.00 to fit it and bleed the brakes. On a 2005 Honda Accord Diesel with 134,000 miles and a failed turbo, the main Honda dealer quoted £2,300 for the turbo plus labour. Forshaws supplied and fitted a reconditioned turbo for £930.00 including VAT. A genuinely honest garage with reliable service.
