The slave cylinder failed on my 140k Mondeo deisel whilst on holiday. I delivered the car to the garage on Monday afternoon for diagnosis and had a quote phoned through to me by 6pm. I had decided to have clutch/flywheel replaced at the same time. The garage called in extra labour, rescheduled tasks and got my car back to me on Wednesday. Brilliant service for a customer they will probably never see again. At about £800 for complete clutch assembly replacement using genuine parts I thought I got good value too.
