Wow they charge like an angry rhino. I had a cv boot and ball joint replaced and they charged just shy of £350. It seemed a lot so I got a price from another local garage and they said it wouldn't be more than £150.

I am beginning to wonder about the garage. This is the third time with different cars that have had cuts on the inside of tires when it comes time for a MOT. This last time, I ask to see the tire when they replace it. This was not done. When I requested again, the mechanic didn't know which tire was mine as they were several in a pile in the corner of the work area. I would recommend this garage with reservations.

"The garage passed an MOT for a car that was not fit, the horn did not work and thick black smoke engulfed the car when oil was added ( note it says on the mot doc ‘ oil gem not measured’"

the MOT had just been done at this garage, there was no oil at all in the car, as soon as we added oil, it was bubbling out of the dip stick, other drivers on the road had to close their windows and back away from the huge cloud of black smoke. We though buying a car with a valid MOT would have made sure the exhaust emissions were legal for a deisel car.
