The service was great,was informed about problem,cost and time frame of repair needed.True 2 their word was done in time they said and cost was exactly what they quoted me,no surprises here.Just good quality service all around, Am recommending Fair Deal Autos to my family and friends.

Felt like the Service from this garage was Good. The Cost for my service and repairs were very reasonable in my experience and i will be returning in future for my vehicles ongoing maintenance.

I dropped my car off for a MOT & Service, was contacted about 2hrs later to advise that the car would fail on braking ( which i was aware may occur beforehand). They advised that total cost and asked me how i wanted to proceed. After i agreed to get this completed they were able to order the parts , fit and retest all within one day. Great service and I will definitely be using them again in the future

Booked in over the phone, had MOT done and some repairs. The cost was very reasonable and received text with quote and when to pick up. Cant fault their process, excellent.

This dodgy garage will give you a price quote when you call to make a booking and will then fail to tell you of any price increase when you hand in your keys personally on service day, later charging you a higher price after works are done!!! Any decent garage will tell you of a price increase since your initial booking was made, giving you the choice to decide if you still want to go ahead or not. They failed to do this and didn't even notify me when dropping keys off. No matter the amount of money, be it £1 it doesn't matter, you cannot treat customers that way. one last thing... later that evening I recalled I'd even said to the woman in the office when dropping the keys off what the car was in for and job price I'd been told. I realised that even then she hadn't notified me of the price increase! I then called the garage to complain and say they really need to communicate about MOT price changes, and the manager had the cheek to repeatedly say that it was only a small additional amount of money to pay. You are missing the point!!! It gets worse as he then implied I was a liar saying he never heard me say the original job price in the office (he wasn't even serving me either in office). All in all they don't own their mistakes and instead attempt to blame the customer. A refund was offered but only if I travel all the way back there (yet I've read reviews elsewhere saying transfers can be done). Not to be trusted. The mechanics there are let down by the failings of the office team.

This is a good reliable garage catering for Volkswagen Audi Skoda etc vehicles with labour prices that are below the car dealers and quality replacement parts. It seem to have a real duty of care to It’s customers.

Took the car here for mot which it failed on for 2 tyres which they were meant to fit !!!!!! . It was in for an alternator that I was told was faulty , to get this off they had to remove the aircon pump which turns out was the fault and not the alternator but they went and changed the alternator anyway. Now this in my eyes is not a trustworthy garage they are meant to be friendly experts....no they are not all they want is your money and deliver a very poor service. And as for the arrogant manager who makes up excuses when your car comes out in worse condition than when it went in blames the owner for his mechanic not putting my car back together properly. And I have proof of there poor skill set.

###Worst Service#### I gave my car to fix hand break(very minor issue working fine but first two locks isn’t working) screen wash leak (I know leakage problem before ) and passenger side mirror problem in morning at 9 am on 27 sep 2018 and they stared working around 3.30 and fixed only hand break and charged 75 pounds from me when I went collect my car around 6 pm , they said 40 pounds to fix hand break and 35 pounds to check issue with screen wash leak .. I have gave my car to to fix issues on the same day not to check issue on one day and fixing screen wash leak on other day .. and said I need pay labour charges for the both day .. I really don’t understand why can’t fix problems on the same day. So they charged 75 pounds just to fix hand break > just waste of time >charge money to check issues but not fixing on the same day >expecting charge again if we have car on next day I woud really felt happy if fix both issues and taken more money what they have charged . I really don’t recommend this garage as just pull money without fixing issues.

My car went in for an MOT and suspension repairs. I was informed and given options. The job was finished on time within the same day at a good price, what else could you want!!

Brilliant all round. They do what they say. They tell you exactly what is going on and very importantly they try their best to source the best price for parts. I believe they are honest and reliable. I would highly recommend them. I will continue to use them.

With a group on voucher for MOT and services, the customer services was awful. Manager was too tough. MOT took 5 hours and they didn't call back to inform me with the result. They did the maintenance with no permission from me. They didn't valet my car as it included in the voucher. They are rubbish.

Booked into Fair Deal Autos in Fords Road Gorgie Edinburgh. The front desk service was quick and friendly. Once the car was ready they called and said it passed and I could collect it. The guys were really professional and 100% better and more honest than companies like KwikFit etc. They are cheaper too! Great service, quick and all at a good honest price. Can't say any fairer than that! I believe they also have a branch in Bathgate West Lothian
