A small time garage that is very reasonable and over the years I have used them they have never let me down. I have nothing negative to say. They are quite friendly too.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! Had my cambelt changed just over a week ago. Started noticing issues with the car, called Friday 20th Sep, spoke to Alan to explain, who replies 'i dont have magic crystal ball' - customer service at its best... NOT! Took car to independent VW specialist and called RAC (report attached) both suggest its all related to cam belt change. Phoned this morning, spoke to Neil asked him to send me his email address so i could send him RAC repost and my letter of dissatisfaction, Neil replied ' i dont have an email and no internet' Asked for WATSAP, Neil replied he dont use social media. Took vehicle into garage, Neil was ok to talk to but refused to take any responsibility for any of the issues, suggesting they were already there! Furthermore, no water pump was fitted, despite requesting this when vehicle was booked. Alan was rude! When asked as VW specialists do you not recommend a water pump when fitting a cambelt, Alan & Neil replied "not if customer doesn't ask, other garages charge you for it to make more money," hmmmmm specialists?? Why would a customer pay £240 for cam belt and not have water pump changed at same time. Asked Neil, why he didn't communicate the issues of turbo pipe (that was refitted with cable tie, to keep in place) and engine cover prior, during he was carrying out the work, or when i picked the car up and why it wasn't mentioned on invoice/receipt, with a break down of parts fitted and labour. Neil had nothing to say - clearly he has removed the engine cover and turbo pipe to get to cambelt. Neil suggesting i foot the bill for all parts required and he will charge labour. My response i will be taking legal advise!
