Would recommend this garage to all who are honest customers, willing and able to pay a fair, competitive rate for top notch, excellent work on your vehicle. Not all customers are willing, honest or able; many want top notch for bottom price. That is NOT feasible. This is a superb garage. Difficult to find a fault! They are currently renting premises from others, but can carry out all vehicle work, as far as I know.

I was so bothered with the warning sign on my dashboard without any idea how to clear it up. Empire Garage Enfield came to my place, fixed the problem in no time, and explained it to me patiently. Thanks for their professional knowledge, patience, nice and warm attitude and kindness.

Switched from the garage I bought my Mazda from. They were not prepared to collect and deliver my car even though I was in lockdown. For previous services I was able to drive to them. Found Empire from an Honest John link with a reminder about my MOT . Empire understood my situation and were very helpful. I will stick with them in future. You also get a Paper service folder whereas Mazda use an electronic service card.

I just want to say a big thank you to Ajay and Empire Garages for getting the headlight fitted on my Mercedes-Benz E-Class. I was involved in a hit and run accident that led to my headlight being smashed and he was able book me in promptly for the next morning to have it replaced. I’ve heard a lot of nightmare stories through friends and family about cowboy garages carrying shoddy work and being left with extortionate repair bills and I had dealt with such anxiety around this in the past, but with Empire Garages, they work extremely hard and are always reassuring, giving a great piece of mind. I will always continue to have Empire Garages as my local garage. GENERAL FEEDBACK My only general feedback is based on the fact that you probably get a lot of Mercedes-Benz customers, so perhaps it might be handy for you guys to obtain the STAR programming/coding equipment (In my case in particular, they managed to establish that it wasn’t needed), just to meet those needs of Mercedes-Benz customers.

I took my car in for a repair, the customer service was first class, with regular communication on progress with the repair. The drop off was very straightforward as was collection of my vehicle. The garage provided honest advice and I was very pleased the high standard of work, how clean my car was when I collected it and how good the overall customer experience was.

I was nervous of choosing who to repair my car and had been advised to expect expensive diagnostic inspection, and all manner of costly parts. I remembered having used Empire Garages before and contacted them. They immediately put my mind at rest, as they approached my problem logically and solved the problem almost immediately. I have been using Empire Garages for over two years. I recently had a full service and MOT and was extremely pleased with the work. They picked up my car for the service and returned it once the work was done. A free car wash is also included which I appreciated. I have used several garages over the years and Empire Garages ticks all the boxes for me. My car is running beautifully after the service. Great service as always.

The team at Empire Garage were fantastic to deal with. They accommodated all my requests, were super helpful, friendly and the whole set up of the garage was great. Reminder text for my appointment and the manager personally ensured there were no issues. Big companies could learn a lot about customer service from these guys. Clean and welcoming environment too. Not only that but the quality of the paint job on my car was great. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

I bought a new battery from a car spares place but couldn't work out how to remove my old battery. I went to Empire and they installed the battery, brought me a cup of tea, and then showed me how to change the battery myself in future if i wanted to. The mechanic was really friendly and taught me how to do this simple van maintenance job for free!.

We live in central london but we heard this garage is very good so we drove a few miles to take our car in for MOT at Empire Garage. And we are really pleased with the service. There is no hidden charge. The garage owner is very friendly and helpful. And the MOT was carried out professionally. We definitely recommend this garage and will visit for our MOT again.

I have been using empire garage for many years, not only for my own car, but also for the maintenance and servicing of both of our school minibuses. I have recommended them to everyone who asks, including my line managers; such is the trust I have in them. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and on the very rare occasion they have not known the answer to a problem, they will go above and beyond to find the answer. Their prices are very competitive and they always explain any issues and give a range of options. Work is never undertaken until you fully understand what you are getting; and you are always made aware of the final cost upfront. No nasty surprises when you go to pay. All the staff, in both the workshop and forecourt are friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The work is always carried out to a high standard and to the agreed time. I cannot recommend them or praise them enough. Recently had an issue that had to go back to the main dealer to fix; they couldn't, Empire garage did though.

My 4 year old Volvo C30 (my pride and joy) has always religiously been serviced at a main dealer but the cost became prohibitive. I came across the advert in the local paper for Empire and even from the advert I realised that this garage was not your usual 'grease monkey' outfit. The car was collected and returned washed and cleaned but more importantly I could definitely feel a difference in the car after the service. The customer service offered by Simon on how to improve the performance and fuel efficiency of the car was second to none - no hard sell, just sowing the seeds for a happy customer to come back. Had my car serviced there for the first time. Ajay gave me a comprehensive description of what the service entailed and talked through all the options. It can be a problem finding a garage that you can trust and so having found Empire I consider myself to be very lucky and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone, friends and family alike. I have been using them without problems for over 10 years. The work they perform is first class at economic prices Whether it is repairs, servicing or MOT and I use them exclusively. Your MOT will usually be performed without appointment. Just turn up and if there is a parking space you are next in the queue. You may have to wait but free coffee is offered in the waiting room. If you need to call they have a freephone number. I call and Ajay knows my voice and remembers what car I have. If you cannot get to them they will collect and deliver back as part of the service. My most recent experience was changing a head lamp bulb that cannot be done except on a ramp from underneath. The car was given a complete lighting check before the bulbs were changed and... I was not charged... YES I said NOT charged. OK i did take my own bulbs so I guess they would have sold those to me, but how many other garages would do that? "Empire forever" and thanks for looking after me.

Last week I found myself with an MOT expiring by the end of the day. WHOOPS I had forgotten about it! I called Empire Garages and my desperate "cries" for help were kindly heard. I was instantly invited down to the garage, with coffee and in-house entertainment in the reception area, to wait whilst my MOT was done. About 40 minutes later my MOT was complete and I left Empire Garages a happy lady with new MOT certificate in hand. THANK YOU AGAIN EMPIRE GARAGES. they went to collect a car from an old friend for mot only, and couldn't have been more helpful. we then collected the car to sell it for the owner, who decided to give up driving. my daughters car was also serviced and given an mot this month as well, and she was delighted with the friendly way that they advised on progress, and also the very reasonable costs involved. she will now be a regular customer.

I wanted to try a different garage for my mot as my old one wasnt meeting my expectations so i tried empire on the heartford rd and i spoke to a manager i think his name was simon and i have never met someone so helpful he was pilot and a charming young man i took my car down on the same day and the staff couldn't be more helpful i even spoke to the main manager called aj witch i thought was very nice as meany places you dont get to talk to a main boss he was very polite to talk to the garage met way above my expectations i wouldn't look at any other garage grate customer service and the quality of work was excellent and the service was wonderful fantastic all round

Do you have more time? Grab a coffee and continue reading: The service and ABS lights of my car turned on shortly after being serviced and MOT’d in Carcraft. As they went into administration and my Happy drive warranty did not cover me anymore I had to find a garage. I browsed for “Good Garage in Enfield”. Empire Garage came up prominently with many positive reviews so I did not look further and took the plunge as it was not close to my home. The diagnostics and repairs took several days as many small steps were required. The manager (AJ) explained to me the procedures and any alternatives in a very polite and clear way. Furthermore, he scheduled all works around my needs so I would either be sometimes waiting a couple of hours onsite -having a coffee on them- before getting back my car for the rest of the day or leave the car with them and commute to work to pick it up at the end of the day, depending on the complexity of the job. Overall I felt treated as someone special. Also I noticed AJ has a micro-managerial approach to the running of the garage and would be all time in and out the workshop discussing every details with his staff (to whom he seems as polite as to his customers) and then explain all results to you in order to discuss further actions. Some other reviewers felt that AJ approach of discussing “possibilities” after so many “in and outs” were some sort of “lack of expertise”. However, I understand that nowadays cars are depending so much in electronics that there are always several layers of complexity and uncertainty (i.e. whether the light is a faulty sensor or a mechanical one going to happen in the near future, or the faulty sensor is hiding another further electronic fault). We need to understand that Empire garages are like “GPs” (i.e. not specialised in any particular brand or aspect of the car) so they need extra time to study YOUR case and indeed they are honest enough to tell you when they are 100% sure or not. But when they promise they deliver. The car looks fine now (lights are off, road test looks OK) although still “under observation”. However I believe the stepwise approach they took saved me at least some £200. And did I say that the car went out of the garage cleaner than ever? They valet it at no extra cost! Extra tip: The Turkish restaurant just next door is a gem. Next time I will service the car with them at lunch time.

The garage forecourt is very modern and extremely clean. The whole process from taking my car in, explaining the issues to be dealt with to getting the car back having been valeted was very professional. Any parts changed were left in the boot and explained by the manager. The bill is well layed out detailing all parts and labour costs separately and very easy to follow.

The car was in at 8;00 am for a service and completed by 5:00 with a number of issues sorted out and repaired. Ajay explained everything clearly and in plain English. Thanks for the great service Saeed Sohoye

My company in the past had been bad time with garages over pricing and not fixing the vehicle professionally because they wanted us to come. Last year we started using Empire Garage which was next Shell petrol station at the time. They fixed my company vehicle, my wife's car and my personal vehicle with cheapest most effective repair and replacements. The Car Service at Empire is like a luxury service you get treated like royalty. I have recommended to all my friends, colleagues. One day our Ambulance company Zone 2 Zone ltd had three ambulance broke down in the same day after a service was done at Empire Garage in Enfield they were all back in service within the same day. Great environment for children and family as the local shops are cheap and restaurants are very friendly and will give discounts if you say your waiting for you vehicle at Empire Garage..... There is no car too big or in bad shape that Empire can't fix AK

I have been using this garage for a number of years and I can honestly say that their customer service is first rate. I email them to book in for a service, repair or email during the evening and it is always replied to immediately - and not an auto-reply, a genuine response. Last week I had a problem with the electric windows and it was dealt with immediately. I never reccommend things to people, but I am going to recommend this garage.

I have been using this garage ever since I moved to Enfield which is 5 years now and hand on heart I cannot recommend this garage enough. Their expertise and helpfulness is second to none. Whatever my cars requires, Empire is where I go. Servicing, MOT and any other odd bits my car goes straight to Empire. Recently my car would not start (I have a 2008 Audi A4) and my key got stuck in the ignition and could not be released. I called my local Audi for advice and to my surprise, they were not able to help. They said they never heard of the problem and that I should try and somehow bring my car in. Crazy I know! I then thought let me give Empire a call. Spoke to the main man Aj and he was so helpful and understanding. He told me his going to bring one of his guys over to have a look but sounds like the battery is dead and guess what? That was exactly what it was. The kind man came over and jump start my car and everything was fine. He even stayed with me for a further 20 minutes to make sure it was that and nothing else. Cannot remember his name but a real sound guy. For anyone who lives in Enfield or nearby or anywhere in the country for that matter, if your car has a problem, come to Empire. Their prices are also competitive. Even if you find another garage that may charge somewhat less than Empire, I would still come to Empire. When you have your MOT done, you know they are doing it properly and checking everything they are suppose to. They always give free advice too. Drop the zeros peeps and see the heroes! ; )

I have been going to this garage ever since iv owned a car nearly 18 years and would not go anywhere else. The staff are friendly, honest and very reliable. Will only advise u on what is actually needed. Not like other garages that are out there to make money on u. Family run business at great value for money prices. A must go if u have not been to this garage u are missing out.

We have been going to Empire Garage for many years; primarily because they always provide a great service, and inspire trust and confidence - which is quite a rare thing these days. Obviously they are very friendly too, and always take the time to explain the pros and cons (and costs) of all options. The collection and drop-off service has also been helpful. Most recently, I needed a new battery and was concerned about driving there, so they immediately sorted out having someone come and replace it at my home. A while ago, they were investigating an recurrent engine warning light on my ageing Mondeo and suggested I simply try changing to a higher grade petrol (from regular unleaded) - this advice worked and the light has stayed off since. First visited Empire garage last April for a repair and full service. I was very impressed with the customer service and of course the repair and service. Today I took my car in with a niggling problem. The car was test driven inspected over a pit and the problem resolved but.........no charge! They now have a customer for life and I will recommend to everyone that they take their vehicle to Empire if they value honesty and good service.

On Saturday 7th June 2014 I broke down in the car park of a supermarket in Ponders End. I rang Empire Garages and described the problems; apparently it was the battery. They came out to me and fixed the problem just in time before the permitted three hour stay expired, allowing me to just avoid a Fixed Penalty Charge. After visiting the garage for the first time for a service I was skeptic upon the service offered. Looking closely at the checklist it was apparent they dont change all the relevant service parts/fail to check everything. What I noticed upon speaking to the Director who was also the receptionist, alot of sales chat to justify everything. In an industry such as this it is difficult to find a business which is genuine, as the profit motive is the clear goal for a family business. I can however say the service did include some up-selling which im not still sure were needed, however I can say the customer service was good but not great. In relation to what was offered im not so sure as I noticed the issues were still present and some of the trim had been damaged from the valeting company. I cant say whether I recommend them in the future as there were unjustified charges on my invoice.

Turned up just to ask about booking in for some work and they started doing some investigative work straightaway, in between their other customers. Didn't want to charge for it either. Will be going back to get the work done there and will be taking my wife's car there in future. Great that you can leave and pick up the car outside normal working hours - saves taking time off work. Well recommended.

I have been using this garage for a number of years now and would not go elsewhere. Previously I have found that some garages treat women motorists as if we have no common sense and even try to overcharge or say jobs need doing that do not. My father used Empire for many years as they were always transparent with their quotes and advice. I've been using this garage for several years now getting my mot & repairs done, they have a great way in explaining what is wrong with the car, they break it down into simple steps and use references to other things to try and make everyone understand. I've just had my car MOT done again. It needed a new wiper blade - which I already knew - but not a problem as Empire have some in stock. It's the second time I've taken my year 2000 VW Bora to Ajay. I'm always happy with the high quality of their test - stringent but honest. About 5 years ago I had a 1996 Ford Escort that failed an MOT at Empire due to emissions, but the guys were very helpful in how I could go about fixing the emissions myself. In the end, I bought and fitted a new MAF and Lambda and that sorted it. What I'm saying is - they won't pass a dodgy car, or fail a decent car. I've been to OTHER garages with various cars and they always seem to be a bit too eager to declare my wishbone bushes are excessively worn. Trust is important - that's why I go to Empire. As a bonus, they are very accommodating when I just turn up and expect an MOT there and then. I also like the fact that I can watch the whole test - so I can see my emissions and brake efficiency up on the display. I recommend Empire to others for a Fast, Fair and Friendly MOT.

I had a small problem with the hooter on my car not working. I went to Empire Garage for the first time having seen their adverts and was very impressed with AJ and Simon. They saw me straight away and fixed my car in just a few minutes and did not charge me. I will definately go to them again.

Being a woman driver I have the mindset 'Prepare to be ripped off', thankfully this has not and never have been the case since using Empire Garage. Ajay and his team are fantastic!! I brought my car in for a service late last year and again they made it their job to keep me informed every step off the way on the progress being made to my vehicle and a rough estimate as to how much it would cost more importantly and timescale. On this visit I booked my car in for an MOT a couple of minor failures but again the team guided me through, was imformative and also made recommendations of things which I found very useful, got my tyres and lights sorted and then went through a re-test...passed...GREAT! In a time of osterity it is really great that a local garage can maintain reasonable prices, and even if in some cases they maybe slightly higher than others, you can guarantee with them you have 'Peace of Mind' which is more important as I use my car for shopping, school run and visiting family and friends...so Safety has to be paramount. With Empire Garage you will not get any short cuts and they always issue you with the paperwork, etc, and great on their record keeping too. I have used this garage for some years now, they service three cars from different manufacturers for me (Toyota, Nissan & Hyundai). The staff are invariably helpful, giving prompt service with loads of detailed feedback. I used to use main dealers for service but would never go elsewhere again. I first used Empire for an MOT. They are pretty fussy over their MOTs - which I appreciate. However, if they find a problem (e.g. emissions) they always try to overcome it. They seem to keep good records on work they have done in the past and use this to resolve any problems that may arise between services. I particularly like that the car is always spotless when I collect it. Highly recommended :) ps - aside from being very knowledgeable and invariably helpful, the boss has a wicked sense of humour - always handy when you are shelling out money.

I have been using this Garage for over 3 years now and I must say each and every time I visit I am always pleasantly suprised by how much the staff and Manager ensure that their customers needs are always met and surpassed. For example, in March I had an issue with my car and they came to pick up my car directly from my house because I had to go into work, how fab is that!! I would definately recommend Empire Garage to anyone looking for honest, hardworking people who always do their job well and genuinely care about their customers.

I have been using Empire for around 20 years for Mot's and have always found their bedside manner superb, even when the car has failed with numerous items, they take the time to explain your options. The repair work is of good standard, they don't go looking for non existent faults or do work that isn't required. I have been taking my car to Ajay for about 7 years. Service is always brilliant, the pick up service and delivery service is great. He is always honest and upfront about things, he explains the problems, offers options , always conscious of the best value for money- definitely the Car Doctor!! I've introduced friends and family, Ajay bought me lunch for introducing the last one!! When I move away from the area Ill definitely still bring my car back to Empire garage.

You can spend a lifetime looking for an honest and reliable garage and at last I have found one. The staff are very professional and took the time to explain everything wrong with the car in detail. Although a number of garages state they'll give you the old parts many fail to deliver and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Empire did. I called in on the off chance for an MOT without an appointment and I was welcomed to a waiting area by a nice respectful gentleman with an offer of a hot beverage or water, while I waited for my MOT to be completed. When my MOT was completed as any good garage would, the inspector placed advisement notes on my MOT and gave me quotes for the necessary works. There was no pushy sales tactics. I have been coming here for 15 years, & never had any problems with the service, or the staff. I would recommend Empire Garages.

What a fantastic garage! The service provided here is the best I have ever experienced. They are fast, reliable and very friendly. I'm not too local however, it is worth the travel as I always leave with a smile on my face. I have never been disappointed with any of the services offered to me and at a very reasonable price too! I am driving since late 70s. I have been using different garages for repairing and servicing my cars in the past. Since I moved to Enfield in 1998 I have been using Empire Garages, it is my local garage and I have never experienced these kinds of services before any where else. I found they are professional and reliable every time when the vehicle go for service or for any repair, they look after the vehicle very well, explain the fault if any and get my approval for any repairs or for any new parts to be fitted to my vehicle. They always advise me the cost, I always found the cost is very reasonable and they never charged me more than what they quoted on phone. They always leave the old parts in the vehicle as a proof of repairs/change. Most of all I am comfortable with them and confident of the condition of the vehicle. They deliver the vehicle after service or repair and I can go and pay and settle the bill anytime later for my convenience. When ever MOT due I only have to make a phone call and they do the rest, they pick up the vehicle got MOT tested and deliver the vehicle back. I found we can totally rely on them for anything regarding all of our vehicles. Now having three vehicles in the house hold we are enjoying their best quality services. I am also happy to mention that I can recommend them to anyone requires car service, repairs or MOT or even any advise. They always return the cars with a free car wash. Good luck and god bless.

I have used plenty of garages in the past and i can honestly say empire is the best ive been with. very friendly staff very presentable customer service is up to scratch and of course AJ the manager, very friendly and fair man. explains mechanical problems as best as and accurately as possible. if you live anywhere in london this is the garage i'd recommend.

Having owned Saabs over ten years, I was very happy to have found this garage. Although I have to travel over fifty miles, I get great service, reasonable price, detailed invoice and keep me informed. Best of all I save money compare to the main dealer prices I used to pay. Keep up the good work

I have been going to Empire Garages for a number of years now, and I have to say that I won't be changing my garage any time soon. They are excellent in terms of the quality of the work that they do, which is obviously the most important thing. However, that is not all. They are friendly, honest and reliable. I have always found the manager Ajay to be excellent in terms of the generosity of his personal time, advice and the general manner in which he works. This is reflected positively in the approach that his staff take too. I have on a number of occasions been given advice by Ajay that has resulted in me spending LESS on a repair to my car, rather than more! That sums Empire Garage up.
