Elim Peugeot, Llangefni

I bought a second hand Captur last June 2025. On November 16, the front wheel came off as I drove to work. Lucky I was just turning into my work place so travelling under 5 miles an hour. I dread to think of what may have happened if I had been travelling any faster. I could've been seriously injured or worse.The car was under warranty and had only ever been dealt with by Elim garage. The AA returned it to the garage, they stated the wheel nuts must have been loose, we only found one by the car. I expected it to be fixed promptly under their warranty .It wasn't. Instead they requested replicate information I had already provided. I felt they were dragging the whole process out . Eventually in December they said the parts were on order. On January 11, there was a fire at the garage. I found out via social media, no one from the garage contacted me. I went to the affiliated Citroen garage and spoke with the person I had been dealing with and they thought my car was not affected as it was outside. During early February I was informed that the insurance assessor had noted fire damage to my car and was assessing the situation. Finally, or so I thought, on February 19I was told that it had been written off. I provided the requested log book the next day .I was ask to come in the following day to discuss the options. The following day when I arrived at Elim Peugeot the sales man knew nothing about it . Today , February 24, I was told that they are unsure about my car's status as the insurance assessor hasn't confirmed it has been written off!!The whole process has been a chaotic stressful ordeal with no resolution in sight. The one star review is because they have provided a small courtesy car through out. I wonder if the premium I paid for the now laughable peace of mind 1 year warranty has been worth the extra money and STRESS!

I purchased a fog light from this Peugeot dealership for £130. The order was made over the phone, so it was a distance sale, and I returned the item within a few days. They refused to provide a refund, ignored my consumer rights, blocked my mobile number, and continue to avoid contact while making excuses. In my opinion, this behaviour feels dishonest and misleading. If they create this much trouble over a simple fog light, I would be very concerned about what could happen if you bought a car from them. I am now starting court proceedings and reporting the matter to Trading Standards. I strongly advise others to be cautious.

Bought £12,000 S/Hand car from them. Car delivered with new towbar, but non-functional electrics. Bald and cracked spare tyre together with boot full of water. Requested quote for £600 accessories to be fitted - never receive it! Promised a satnav upgrade as compensation - upgrade totally bungled. Further communication ignored.

A Broken front collar spring/suspension on my Peugeot 1007 (2005!) required emergency trailer recovery to our main dealer -Elim Peugeot Llangefni The problem was diagnosed within hours of its arrival at Elim and a new pair of front suspension springs ordered. The repairs were carried out the next morning and the car was washed and ready to pick up that lunchtime. The even better news was that the dealership felt that this component should not have failed for at least 100,000 miles so no charge was made for the labour or parts (on an 8 year old car!)This really is excellent service and both Peugeot and Elim deserve success if this is how they treat loyal customers.
