DTE Motoring Centre

I've had no problems, we take all the family cars to them. I don't know much about cars, so rely on them.

Took my Ford Focus estate for an MOT, it failed and needed lower front suspension arms replacing which I agreed to having done. I collected the car and paid. Some weeks later I opened the bonnet and looked down at the engine to see the undercloak was missing, I immediately phoned them and asked if the had still got the undercloak to my car, after a long wait they said they had found it, I called in only to be told they had lost the fixing screws and if I booked an appointment they would obtain some more and fit the undercloak back on. I declined their offer and took the undercloak and obtained my own fastenings to refit it.Unfortunately this is not the end of the story as part of the job of replacing the lower front suspension arms was correcting the tracking afterwards another operation they didn't complete and 12 months later I find I need 2 new tyres on the front of my Focus because the inside edge of the old tyres had scrubbed away. The garage that corrected my tracking did not speak highly of DTE.
