My newly acquired Saab decided to breakdown on a Sunday afternoon, miles from home and obviously no tools in the car. Autoaid sent out this company to have a look. I hunkered down expecting a long wait but the recovery delivery arrived within an hour (Autoaid suggested up to two hours) and the helpful driver, who turned out to be the boss, quickly diagnosed a charging fault that couldn't be rectified without new parts. He then recovered me home without delay. Great service from Autoaid, even better from this garage, who I don't have any connection with, and I'd highly recommend them. A true car guy, who knows his stuff and runs a great business.

this guys work might be cheap,but he is so slow and his attitude is disgusting. this is the first time using him,but it will be the last,broke down in the area ,a simple time line on when repairs will be carried out and when car will be ready is all we ask for,lots of taxis around so maybe they are his core business recommend you go elsewhere

Terrible service. Made out they were going to fix it but 5 days later said they only did recovery. Slow, arrogant and rude owner. His incompetence meant I did not have time to get my vehicle fixed thus having to cancel a holiday he knew we were booked for. The worst company I have ever dealt with.

my bmw broke down in asda starter motor went and they recovered me home and after weekend on tuesday they picked my car up at 9.00pm and fixed my car that night and picked up 11.30 pm they new i need my car asap and great price other repairs centres was lot more money well done thanks jack

Dropped my Berlingo van off on the promise it would be ready next day. It hadn't even moved from where I parked it for 4 days. The vehicle was with the garage for over a week only to have a wheel baring replaced and have a simple service. I was fobbed off every time I called and was cut off after I voiced my frustration. What should've cost under £100, cost me double with lost revenue and van hire. It would seem this garage drops everything to accommodate local Taxis. Beware!!!

The guy who was helped in the other review must be from out of town because Dougie from DC treats locals with contempt, unless its a taxi driver. I gave him my car for a minor repair. I put up with his excuses for THREE weeks, most of the time my car was sat in a car park nearby!! Each time I went by to check, he was working on a taxi or 'just going on a recovery'!! He actually swore at me for asking when it might get done. I finally took the car elsewhere. Ask around the locals b4 you give up your car to him! General consensus is he's good when he EVENTUALLY does a job but expect to lose your car for weeks for the simplest thing, that would take any other garage a few hours!

We were taken to this garage by an AA serviceman, on the Sunday of Easter Bank Holiday Weekend. Dougie, the owner was happy to strip our van down, repair the faulty part and only charged us £ 25 for the priviledge saying that he refused to profit from others' misfortune. All of this meant that we could continue to enjoy our holiday.
