"Not worthy of being a Ford main dealer branch"

June 2025. Absolutely appalling and abhorrent customer service from the car service centre here. Certainly not worthy of being a Ford main dealer. Actually bought a brand new Ford several years ago from Hendy Ford in Portsmouth and Ashington Ford previously. At the time in buying my last Ford. Cuff Miller were terrible then and have only got worse. They showed no interest in selling me the Ford I wanted as they did not have a demo car. During my warranty period the car went in for a service and their customer service was shocking. Offering no courtesy car and stating the car would need to be with them for the day. At the time a tolerated this around having days off in the week. And being able to walk home. Ford UK were sending me official recall notices and every time the car went there for its annual service. They stated the car was not part of the recall. And I had nothing to worry about. Even though the recall was deemed a component for critical safety. The customer service didn’t improve and subsequently I have had my car serviced by Auto Repairs and Recovery also in Littlehampton. Who by comparison to Cuff Miller offer 5 star ?????????? treatment. I could only give Cuff Miller 1?? star and that’s as they are the cheapest for fuel. But zero stars for anything else. Ford UK this June 2025 booked the car in to complete the Recall work which turns out should have been done not long after it was purchased But Cuff Miller had all along rebuffed was not part of the recall. It was planned to be dropped off on a Wednesday day and transported to Worthing. And scheduled to be returned to Cuff Miller the following day complete. 24 hours elapsed and I noticed it hadn’t moved from the Tracker on the car. Cuff Miller phoned up and stated the installers were on site and on removing the component from the vehicle the replacement one was found to be damaged. And subsequently a new component was ordered but wouldn’t be installed for five days until the following week. And my car could not be used in the meantime. They denied a courtesy car being available stating they didn’t have one available. I made a phone call to Ford Assist and Ford customer service stated that was not the case and the car was covered for a courtesy car as it was a recall operation being carried out. And Ford UK would instruct Cuff Miller to issue a courtesy car. Cuff Miller assured me that Enterprise car hire were now dealing with it. And to contact them. And Enterprise Car stated they didn’t have any from Ford and I was not known to them. Telephoned Ford UK back and they assured me the authorisation had been sent to Cuff Miller and as far as Ford Uk were concerned it was down to Cuff Miller. Cuff Miller service centre manager assured me they had sent the documents to Enterprise. So it was vicious circle of customer service failings in my opinion my an already incompetent Ford dealer. As of today I still have no update six days after dropping the car off last week. And no courtesy car. I would say to anyone DO NOT BUY OR HAVE A CAR SERVICED HERE. They are only interested in people buying new cars every three years. If you must use this awful garage and need a courtesy car. Then ensure you have one beforehand. Also good luck parking there as the place is the size of a postage stamp.

Complete lack of empathy towards their customer. Criticism is met with sarcasm. Van in for warranty work. Stop Start and hill start not working. Battery losing charge. Van done 11000 miles. Garage had the van for 3 days thus far still no closer to repairing the fault. Attitude is tough will fix it when we get round to it. So I’m without a vehicle I need for work. No courtesy car no apology just lump it.
