Took car in for oil and filter change interim service 40000 miles 400 miles later complete engine failure told new engine stupidly I had it replaced .VW didn’t want to know for two years the car continued to vibrate they trapped gear selector cable distorted turbo boost pipe I had engine mounts changed all at a cost to me to prove the new engine was defective. Kept denying it stated vehicle characteristics bull never vibrated before I kept insisting to pull the engine denied under the consumer wrights act as defective parts denied . Warranty on new engine unlimited mileage 2yrs So be wary VW Touaregs can explode at 40000 miles For no apparent reason so it will cost you in excess of £12:000 for the prevalence of owning one or alternatively don’t have it serviced or worked on by them . Crewe Vw were the only ones who ever serviced this vehicle Beware.

Took car in for 4 tires changed, tires cost 390 for 4 and an hours labour, they wanted about 400 per tire(if supplied by them) . It took the 4 hrs to change them and damaged one wheel and flat out denied it, offered me a fight outside only when there was 4 of them one of them the service staff. They also messed up an update for the car which broke £1500 headlight the indicators and brake lights and broke the weconnect i am no longer registered on that they left the car dangerous with no lights and alot of errors showing on the dashboard, You also cannot leave bad reviews on google as they are blocked somehow seen a few unhappy customers whilst there in 6 months, you pay for servicing and they dont change filters

I personally wouldn’t give them anything With all the facilities available now days for other VW garages to check your vehicle you shouldn’t need to drive back if you live far away, they gave me a car with a defect. The sales person called Saun failed to return the call twice and he managed to call me the third time making an excuse not to call back that “ he may have been on holiday “ but when I rang the receptionist said he was with a customer . Is he a liar ?

Bought my Volkswagen cc from Crewe VW, first service at Crewe 2nd and 3rd at their Wrexham branch. A high speed motorway smash again repaired with the same company SWANWAYS. I reported brake failure the cause of the accident ,after a new front end repair I took the car back about brakes issues. 4th service now less than 3 years old to Inchcape Chester who offer to change all my brakes free of charge as they estimate I had less than 50% braking. The brakes had been bodged repaired by fitting new pads on badly damaged brakes. So who did this Swansway VW the only people to touch my car and they sent me and my family on the road with knowingly bad brakes. The damage was such that it must of been there from first service so means they never checked my brakes from new.

incompetent inefficient unhelpful over 2 weeks to diagnose simple fault the bill was ridiculous
